During 1926 a new Trade Mark was introduced. The Trade Mark took the form of a combination of the Second Period, complete with ribbon and a 'roundel' as shown below with Deanta in Eirinn. Please see our Newsletter Issue Number 31.3 for more detailed information. This version was used on parian pieces, Earthenware pieces were marked 'Melvinware'. Records are not able to confirm why this name change was introduced. There are a few versions of the Third Period Mark. Some are shown below. Markings from the Third Period are in Black. |
