Figure of Bather Bronzed Crouching Venus
From a large auction of belleek in December 2010 conducted by Belhorn auctions in America, here is a very rare Figure of Bather with subtle purple lustre finish From a House Sale in Terenure Dublin W6 by Herman Wilkinson Fine Arts & Antiques Auctioneers Dublin, the contents of this house included a superb Crouching Venus which had been passed down through the family to the last owner. Luckily this image captures the patination effect on the bronze colouring applied to this piece. Our thanks to David at Herman Wilkinson auctioneer Dublin
